WHAT'S NEW AT HEARTHSTONE:

     I've found a new shop location and it's located in the Cherry Building in the New Bohemia District in Cedar Rapids. My new address is 329 10th Ave. SE. (Suite 126). I'm on the first floor and it's easist to find me if you come in on the side door (with the big cherries on them!). Once you get inside I'm the first door on the left.

I'm also happy to say that I'm sharing my spot with Cheryl Sheeley who has beautiful yarns and florals. Her website is www.thegardenwren.com.

We'll be splitting the hours and I'll be there on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Fridays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. One of us will be there on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

FALL CLASS SCHEDULE (Pre-registration required):

Holiday Candlemaking: Come and learn how fun and easy it is to make holiday candles for yourself or to give as a gift! In class, you'll learn how to make soy wax container and pillar candles as well as votives, tealights, tarts and wax melts. All materials will be provided for you. Cost: $24.00. Date: Monday, November 7, 6:30-8:30 PM, Tuesday, December 6, 6:30-8:30 PM.

Glycerin Soaps & More: Are you spending a fortune at bath and body stores or worried about some of the ingredients in the products that you're using? At this class, you'll learn how simple and inexpensive it is to make your own bath and body products with simple, nourishing ingredients.  All materials are provided for you. Cost: $24.00. Date: Tuesday, November 15, 6:30-8:30 PM.

Wedding Candles: If you have a spring or summer wedding planned, it's the perfect time to learn how simple it is to make your own wedding candles.  Bring your color swatches to class and we'll show you how to make container, votive and pillar candles.  All materials will be provided for you.  Cost: $24.00. Date: Saturday, November 12, 12:30-2:30 PM.
